Total mcg in vial = 5 mg x 1000 = 5,000 mcg
Concentration = 5,000 mcg / 2 mL = 2,500 mcg/mL
Dose volume = 100 mcg / 2,500 mcg/mL = 0.0400 mL
Units to draw = 0.0400 mL x 100 units/mL = 4 units
Doses per vial = 5,000 mcg / 100 mcg = 50 doses

Create a free accountDSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) is a nonapeptide (Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu) isolated in 1977 by Schoenenberger and Monnier from cerebral venous blood of rabbits during electrically induced sleep. It has been studied as a putative sleep and stress modulator, but the evidence base is weak, largely pre-2000, and DSIP is not FDA-approved.
