Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Disclosed Labs earns money in four ways: paid subscriptions, B2B SaaS plans for prescribers and pharmacies, affiliate commissions from certain outbound links, and referral fees from Quest Diagnostics blood work orders. Vendors never pay us for favorable coverage. Our editorial content, trust scores, and price comparisons are independent of affiliate status.

Where affiliate links appear

• Price comparison pages: Some pharmacy and research-vendor listings contain affiliate tracking links. When you click through and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. The commission does notinfluence a vendor's placement, trust score, or inclusion in the table.
• Vendor trust score pages: Outbound links to vendor websites may use affiliate tracking. Trust scores are computed from blind-purchased sample test results and FDA compliance signals. We never charge vendors for scoring, inclusion, or removal.
• Blood work ordering: Quest Diagnostics orders placed through Disclosed Labs go through an affiliate relationship via Impact.com. We receive a referral fee per completed order. You pay the same price you would pay ordering directly from Quest.
• Pharmacy directory: Some compounding pharmacy listings include referral-tracked phone numbers or form submissions. We receive a fee when a pharmacy confirms a referred consultation.
• Prescriber directory: Consultation bookings made through the prescriber directory may generate a booking commission when a prescriber has opted into our booking platform.

How affiliate revenue is kept separate from editorial

We maintain a strict firewall between revenue operations and editorial content. Specifically:

• Trust scores are calculated from blind-purchased lab results, FDA compliance signals, and transparency indicators. Affiliate status is not an input to the trust score algorithm.
• Price comparison tables show every verified source we have data for, including non-affiliate pharmacies and vendors. Tables are sorted by per-mg price, never by commission rate.
• Failed batches from any vendor — including affiliate partners — are published on our failures page with full lab data.
• Vendor trust scores published independently by partners like Finnrick are referenced on their own merits. We do not remove or adjust Finnrick grades based on affiliate relationships.
• FDA compliance scanner results are generated by automated pattern matching against live FDA warning letter data. The scanner treats affiliate partners and non-partners identically.

What affiliate links look like

Affiliate links typically include a tracking parameter (e.g. ?ref=disclosedlabs). You are under no obligation to use them. The same products and services are available by navigating directly to each vendor or pharmacy website.
