Check formulation: Lyophilized powder requires reconstitution before use. Pre-mixed solutions are more convenient but may have a shorter shelf life and higher prices.
Compare per-mg cost: Different strengths and quantities make direct price comparison difficult. Calculate the per-milligram cost to find the true best value.
Verify COAs: Look for vendors that publish per-batch Certificates of Analysis from named, accredited labs. Every vendor on this page is verified for endotoxin testing — not just HPLC purity.
Khavinson et al. have published extensively on epitalon over three decades. A key study in Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine (2003) demonstrated telomerase activation in human fetal fibroblasts and adult somatic cells. Anisimov et al. (2001) showed 13.3% lifespan extension in female mice treated with epithalon. Studies in elderly patients demonstrated normalization of melatonin rhythms and improved sleep quality. A 15-year longitudinal study by Khavinson & Morozov showed reduced cardiovascular mortality in elderly patients treated with epithalamin (the gland extract from which epitalon is derived). While the body of research is promising, most studies originate from a single research group, and independent replication remains an important gap.
