How do I know if a telehealth provider understands peptides?

Look for providers who list specific peptides in their practice (BPC-157, TB-500, etc.), not just 'anti-aging' or 'hormone optimization.' Providers in our directory have self-identified as peptide-knowledgeable and, where applicable, are cross-referenced against NPI registry data.

What is the status of the 2026 FDA peptide compounding review?

In April 2026 the FDA removed 12 peptides from Category 2; this does not place them on the Category 1 (503A) list or authorize compounding — they remain under review in a regulatory gray zone. The FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee is advisory and meets July 23–24, 2026 to review nominations and make recommendations to the FDA, which issues any final rule later. Nothing is confirmed Category 1 yet.

What's the difference between a 503A and 503B compounding pharmacy?

503A pharmacies make individualized compounds under a patient-specific prescription (most peptide patients use 503A). 503B 'outsourcing facilities' produce larger batches for office use without patient-specific prescriptions. Both require a valid prescriber relationship.
