Body Protection Compound-157
BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide (15 amino acids) derived from human gastric juice. It has been studied extensively in animal models for its potential tissue-protective and healing effects across multiple organ systems.
BPC-157 appears to act through multiple pathways including upregulation of growth factor expression (EGF, VEGF), modulation of the nitric oxide system, and interaction with the dopaminergic system. It has shown effects on angiogenesis and wound healing in preclinical studies.
Extensive preclinical research in rodent models demonstrates accelerated healing of tendons, ligaments, muscles, and the gastrointestinal tract. Human clinical trials are limited but underway. It remains one of the most studied peptides in regenerative medicine.
Typical Dose
250mcg
Range
200-500mcg
Frequency
2x/day (subcutaneous)
Route
SubQ or Oral
Duration
4-8 weeks
Reconstitution
5mg vial + 2mL bacteriostatic water = 2,500mcg/mL
Notes
SubQ injection near the injury site is most common. Oral dosing is used for GI-related applications. Often cycled 4–6 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
These biomarkers are commonly tracked to assess response and safety. Run baseline labs before starting, mid-cycle labs halfway through, and post-cycle labs 1–2 weeks after the final dose.
Build a protocol with BPC-157, schedule blood work for key biomarkers, and track your results.
